Appendix A Avid Performance Meter

User Interface Overview

The primary user interface of Avid Performance Meter consists of a single

window from which you can select the test to be performed, start and stop

the selected test, and view the test results as the test progresses (see

Figure 5). You access auxiliary controls through dialog boxes.

Settings Area

The Settings area in the main window displays the name of the currently

selected test, the test duration, and the path to the storage that will be

tested.

The Setup button allows you to change the test settings. For more

information, see “Setting Up Your Test” on page 35.
